Material performance:
Corrosion resistance, electrical insulation (especially high frequency insulation), chlorination, irradiation modification, can be reinforced by glass fiber. Low pressure polyethylene has high melting point, rigidity, hardness and strength, low water absorption, good electrical properties and radiation resistance; high-pressure polyethylene has good flexibility, elongation, impact strength and permeability; ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene has high impact strength, fatigue resistance and wear resistance.
Low-pressure polyethylene is suitable for making corrosion-resistant parts and insulating parts; high-pressure polyethylene is suitable for making films; ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene is suitable for making shock absorption, wear-resistant and transmission parts.
Molding performance:
1. Crystallized material, low moisture absorption, no need to fully dry, excellent fluidity, fluidity is sensitive to pressure, high pressure injection should be used during molding, material temperature is uniform, filling speed is fast, pressure is sufficient. It is not suitable to use direct gate to prevent shrinkage Uneven, the internal stress increases. Pay attention to the location of the gate to prevent shrinkage and deformation.
2. Shrinkage range and shrinkage value are large, the direction is obvious, easy to deform and warp. The cooling speed should be slow, the mold is set with cold material, and there is cooling system.
3. The heating time should not be too long, otherwise decomposition and burns will occur.
4. When the soft plastic part has a shallow side groove, it can be forced to demould.
5. The melt may break and it is not suitable to contact with organic solvents to prevent cracking.
High-pressure polyethylene: more than half for film products, followed by pipes, injection molded products, wire wraps, etc.
Medium and low pressure polyethylene: mainly injection molded products and hollow products.
Ultra-high pressure polyethylene: Due to its excellent comprehensive properties, ultra-high molecular polyethylene can be used as engineering plastics.
Applications:
1 Injection molded products: there are turnover boxes, caps, barrels, caps, food containers, trays, garbage bins, boxes, and plastic flowers
2 Blow molding products: hollow molded products, such as various series of blow molding barrels, containers, bottles, detergents, chemicals, cosmetics, etc., gasoline tanks, daily products, etc. There are also blown film products such as food packaging bags, grocery shopping bags, fertilizer lining films and the like.
3 Extrusion products: Pipes and fittings are mainly used for gas transportation, public water and chemical transportation, such as building materials drainage pipes, gas pipes, hot water pipes, etc.: Sheets are mainly used for seats, suitcases, handling containers, etc.
4 Rotary molding: injection molding products such as large containers, storage tanks, barrels, boxes, etc.
5. Polyethylene can be processed into film, wire and cable sheath, pipe, various hollow products, injection molded products, fibers and so on. Widely used in agriculture, packaging, electrical and electronics, machinery, automobiles, daily sundries and so on.
